Glycemic Load vs. The Glycemic Index for Controlling Blood Sugar

For those of you who have heard about the glycemic index, there is a new concept that many nutritionists feel is more valuable for determining how various carbohydrate foods affect your blood sugar levels.

It is called the Glycemic Load
